The Office of the Grocery Sector Code of Conduct (OGSCC) has launched its new Association Portal, a practical hub designed to make it easier for industry associations to stay informed, access timely resources, and promote awareness and understanding of the Code within their networks.

Through the portal, association representatives can access targeted OGSCC updates, engagement opportunities such as Code on the Road, educational resources, and ready-to-use communications materials that can be shared with their own members. Association Portal users will also be able to subscribe to an Association Memo email list for updates developed specifically for industry associations.

The portal also includes a Systemic Issue Centre, where associations can confidentially share recurring trends and systemic issues they are hearing from their members. This information can help the OGSCC identify areas that may benefit from additional education, engagement, review, or guidance.

Association Portal accounts are available to eligible associations and are separate from OGSCC membership registration. It is important to remember that the Code only applies to individual retailers and suppliers that are members of the OGSCC.  However, while not members of the OGSCC, associations play an important role in encouraging eligible businesses within their networks to become OGSCC members. Broad industry participation is essential if the Code is to serve as an effective and useful tool for businesses operating in the grocery sector.
